Before installation
Important: The electrical connection must be
carried out by a qualified electrician or someone
trained to perform electrical installations. This person
must be familiar with the features of the light and
the connection requirements.
Familiarise yourself with all instructions and
diagrams in this manual as well as with the
light before installation.
Before installation, ensure that the cable that
the light is to be attached to is not live. Remove
its fuse or switch off the automatic cutout in the
fuse box (0 position).
Use the voltage tester to check that there is no
voltage.
Installation
Fitting the light
Remove the screws

visible on the side of the
terminal housing

and take the installation
frame

on the back off (see diagram).
Mark the boreholes using the slotted holes pro-
vided for the screws in the installation frame

.
Now drill the screw holes (approx. 6 mm, depth
approx. 40 mm). Ensure that the feed cable is
not damaged.
Insert the dowels into the drilled holes. Fasten
the mounting bracket

in place with the
supplied screws.
Connect the lights connection cable to the
mains connection cable

using the insulating
screw joint

(see diagram).
Ensure that the cables have been connected in
line with the correct colour coding.
Now connect the earthed conductor (green-
yellow) to the earth terminal labelled in the
terminal housing

(see diagram).
Screw the light onto the installation frame

using the screws

Bend the flexible arm

to achieve the desired
direction.
Mark the fixing holes for the ceiling brackets

Note that the drilled holes are always between
two spots

(see diagram). This achieves a
more secure fastening.
Drill the fixing holes (approx. 6 mm, depth
approx. 40 mm) for the ceiling brackets

Insert the dowels into the drilled holes.
Fasten the ceiling brackets

in place with
the supplied screws.
Screw the ceiling bracket clips

into the
ceiling brackets

Clamp the flexible arms

into the ceiling
bracket clips

.
Place the lamp glass

carefully over the
fitting

and fasten it in place by tightening the
threaded ring

using the supplied tool

Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb

Rotate the bulb

carefully clockwise into
the fitting.
Check that the bulb is correctly seated.
Your light is now ready for operation.
Directing the light
Never change the direction of the light while it
is switched on.
Allow the light to cool completely.
Turn the individual spots

at their bases in
the desired direction. The spots
8
can be
turned through approx. 270°.
